Costs
The cost for your commercial certificate will depend on your skill as well as the amount of time that you already have in an airplane. If you have time in a complex aircraft, that will greatly reduce the cost for this certificate. Expect about $800.00 to $1000.00 which will include all flight time, instructor fees, ground school, misc. items, and the flight test.

HINT: This certificate involves precise maneuvers that can be developed in a none complex aircraft to keep the cost down. When you feel those maneuvers are up to par, then move on into the complex aircraft.

Time
Ground school is not as involved as the private or instrument. Plan on a 6 week ground school.

Flight Time
The commercial certificate involves very little flight, and can be accomplished in the same time as the ground school.
